OPPORTUNITIES TO SUPPORT NMS

NMS raises almost $750,000 annually from individuals, foundations, and corporations. These funds fill the 11% gap between revenues raised by tuition and the $4,000,000 expense of running this largest community school of the arts in Connecticut. Most importantly, they support the school’s growing financial aid program. Last year, NMS awarded almost $200,000 to more than 300 students who would otherwise have been unable to participate.

While donor-advised contributions are always welcome, our biggest need is for unrestricted gifts. These may be made in honor of a teacher, student, or program and will be recognized as such in our Annual Review. Checks should be made payable to Neighborhood Music School and sent to NMS – Development, 100 Audubon Street, New Haven, CT 06510-1206.
